![]() ![]() We also look at expanding the clip if we've selected less than needed, by trimming too much or too little. Then we look at how we can animate the emphasized clip, cropping it to the area we desire. We look at how to make the perfect selection, copying the entire part of the timeline that has the segment we desire to replicate. I share a lot of tips and tricks for Camtasia when dealing with a situation like this where two parts of the screen are visible simultaneously. We look at how to duplicate or copy the original recording, select just the segment we care about, crop it, resize it, move it around, add effects to it to distinguish it from the main clip, transition it in and out and more. ![]() In this Camtasia tutorial I provide a procedure for using a single screen recording video and zooming in on two different areas of the screen at the same time. Zooming in on one part of the screen can take the other part out of the screen and it's not visible anymore where the action is. This might prove difficult if your screen is wide or if the two areas you need to show are on two opposite sides of the screen. If you are creating on-screen tutorials, recorded in Camtasia, during editing you might want to zoom in on two different areas of the screen at the same time, to guide the viewer to the screen zone you need to show. Let me know if this gets you back up and running.Emphasizing two areas of the screen at the same time in Camtasia can be a bit tricky. This should be a pretty uncommon experience according to our developers. Apologies for the corrupted upgraded and workaround steps. Make sure you are able to adjust outline size and color, then re-create the user presets based on the working sketch motion. After you've cleaned things out, context-click and choose restore defaults. They haven't been able to duplicate what goes wrong in these cases, but you should be able to context-click and delete those mis-behaving user presets. However, one of the devs remembers that some sort of of upgrade problem could happen if sketch motion presets were created in 2019. I can't duplicate the sketch motion issue. I don't have a timeline or guarantee for a change there. I gave the feedback that this is undesirable to the core render team. It's apparently been this way for a long time on Windows. The cursor not changing colors is the result of Camtasia Mac moving to use the same rendering engine as is used on Windows. ![]() WAV the default audio format when exporting audio only from the Menu Bar.
